With our latest update, you can now connect the ML-Assisted Labeling extension in Datasaur to Google Vertex AI models: enabling you to use your model to automatically render labels directly in the Datasaur platform. This integration allows for seamless communication between the two platforms, unlocking the full potential of your NLP annotations. Not only is Datasaur’s ML-Assisted a powerful tool, but it's also incredibly user-friendly. All you need to do is input the endpoint URL in the Datasaur extension - no need to make any changes to the output. So how do I get the endpoint URL of my model? You can view the endpoint details by clicking on the endpoint's name after the deployment in Vertex AI is finished (on this page below).
And voilà! You now have your model endpoint ready to be used in Datasaur - ML-Assisted.
Now that we have the end point URL lets go back to Datasaur. Open a project that you have already created (see this 2:00 minute video on how to create a project in Datasaur). After you have created your project or opened an already created project, go to your extensions and enable the ML-Assisted Labeling extension. Please see this video on how to enable the ML-Assisted Labeling extension.
Now, you can choose "Google Vertex AI" from the dropdown in the extension, input your the endpoint URL, and your ready to select "Predict Labels" (as seen below). It is as simple as that! You can now effortlessly connect to your Google Vertex AI model and start the labeling process with the added benefit of model recommendations.
