Datasaur now supports SAML 2.0 integration on your Workspace. This integration simplifies and streamlines user authentication by allowing users to sign in seamlessly with their preferred Identity Provider (IdP). In this blog post, we'll explore the benefits of this integration and how it contributes to making your data labeling projects even more efficient and secure.

What Is SAML 2.0?

Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML 2.0) is a version of the SAML standard for exchanging authentication and authorization identities between security domains. SAML 2.0 is an XML-based protocol that uses security tokens containing assertions to pass information about a principal (usually an end user) between a SAML authority, named an Identity Provider, and a SAML consumer, named a Service Provider (Datasaur).

Key Benefits

Here are some key benefits of using SAML 2.0

  1. Streamlined Authentication Experience.
Say goodbye to manual registration. With this integration, you can both register and sign in with just a button of a click.
  2. Enhanced Security
SAML 2.0 provides a secure and trusted way of handling user authentication. It uses industry-standard encryption and authentication protocols to ensure that your data and credentials are protected.
  3. Centralized User Management
With SAML 2.0, user management is centralized within your organization through your selected Identity Provider.

Coming Soon: SCIM 2.0 Integration

By simplifying authentication, we're empowering our users to focus on what they do best — data labeling, without the hassle of managing the users and its credentials manually. Furthermore, we are also in the progress of supporting the SCIM integration to make the process of provisioning users and user data synchronization even better and without a hassle.
